What data CheerFlat collects
- Slack workspace installation data: your Slack workspace ID, workspace name, selected celebration channel ID, time zone, and the bot OAuth token required to post celebration messages.
- Celebration roster data: the display names, optional Slack user IDs, birthdays (month/day or date), and optional hire dates that your workspace administrators add via
/celebrateor the App Home tab. - Billing and license data: when you subscribe to Flat Pro, Stripe provides your email address, Stripe customer ID, and subscription status so we can issue and verify your license key.
What CheerFlat does NOT access
CheerFlat does not read your Slack messages, private channels, or file uploads. We request only the minimum Slack scopes needed to respond to /celebrate commands, render the App Home tab, and post scheduled celebrations to your chosen channel.
How we use and store your data
We use your data solely to deliver scheduled birthday and work-anniversary messages in your Slack workspace and manage your subscription. Data is stored on Cloudflare's global edge network. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your credit card number.
Data retention and deletion
You can remove individual teammates at any time with /celebrate remove, or email support@cheerflat.com to delete your entire workspace record immediately. Billing records are retained as required for Canadian tax and accounting compliance.
Your privacy rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable privacy laws, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@cheerflat.com.
